Safety Scotland Ltd is a locally based independent safety consultancy formed by Ron Murray and Kevin Main, two former directors of Wood-Murray Associates Ltd.
Wood-Murray Associates Ltd was set up by George Wood and Ron Murray in January 1997 to provide practical solutions for the Health and Safety needs of Scottish employers in all fields of construction and to act as CDM Co-ordinators on CDM projects.
The consultancy expanded over the intervening period through the provision of economic and pragmatic assistance in the particular fields of expertise of its consultants and participated in projects across a wide spectrum, up to the provision of safety services for the £220 million pound Peterhead Power Station project.
The ultimate aim of the company is to continue improving and expanding the service to our Clients.
The company Croner Consulting acquired both Empire Business Services and Wood Murray Associates in August 2002 resulting in a new company being formed Croner Consulting Scotland. In late 2004 Ron Murray and Kevin Main left Croner Consulting and established the independent Health and Safety consultancy Safety Scotland Ltd.
In 2009 Safety Scotland moved to their new offices in the historic Grandholm Village which is part of the former Crombie Mills, the building is grade two listed and is 200 years old this year 2012.
Safety Scotland is based in Aberdeen, but service sites and clients throughout the whole of Scotland in safety consultancy, training and the provision of CDM Consultancy.
